When you say yes to too many people who ask, you end up not taking care of yourself. It's o.k. to say no once in a while. Be of service to others when you can, but don't go overboard.

Limit your help to one person at a time. Be careful of those that are abusive in their demands for help. Family and friends included. Instruct them to help themselves. It is utterly OK to expect something from them in return. That will also empower the person you are helping.

Take on one problem at a time. You can easily yield to stress if you spread yourself too thin. It's O.K. to realize your limitations. Don't over extend yourself.

There are a lot of things that cause stress. Take stock of your life and find out where your stress is coming from. Then take certain action to reduce that stress. You may have to modify some habits, you may even have to change how you perceive things. Alleviating your level of stress should take first place of the order of importance.
